After a long absence, Maurice Bejart’s company, one of the pioneers of modern dance, is returning to Israel, a beacon of spirit and innovation.
The company will present two different programs from the great choreographer’s best work:
Bolero – one of the band’s masterpieces. A provocative and erotic dance seduction to the music of Maurice Ravel.
Ballet for Life – to the tune of songs by Queen and works by Mozart. A ballet in memory of three young artists who ended their lives too early because of love: Freddie Mercury, lead singer of Queen, Jorge Don, a dancer in Bejart’s company, and fashion designer Gianni Versace.
