The world’s largest dance company in a captivating and one-of-a-kind show – 80 participants, hundreds of colorful costumes in an unforgettable show.
The Igor Moiseev Ballet returns to Israel with a special performance to mark the 80th anniversary of the company’s founding, presenting a rich and immersive program that will showcase the diverse work of folklore dance artist Igor Moiseev. In the program, the company will present a fascinating selection of works created by Moiseev: Russian, Ukrainian, Greek, Argentinean ballads, and even a special work dedicated to Jewish music and dance.
In the second part of the show, the 80 dancers will perform the piece “Night on Bald Mountain,” set to music by Igor Mussorgsky, in which Moiseyev manages to combine classical dance with folk dance into pure art.
