An international tour of the vibrant Montreal dance company with a festive program, including a new work by Barak Marshall. Canada’s leading modern dance company celebrates 40 years of activity with an international concert tour, which includes three works written especially for the festive event.

The company’s new program presents works by three of the most prominent and renowned choreographers in the world of contemporary dance, including acclaimed Israeli choreographer Barak Marshall. Marshall’s contemporary and fascinating work deals with the search for real emotions in the competitive world of electronic music, computer games and the Internet.

Founded in 1972, the Montreal dance company continues to grow and develop just as it did in its early days, without losing the liveliness and youthful spirit that have become its hallmark. Since the appointment of Louis Robitaille as artistic director in 1998, the company has adapted itself to the spirit of contemporary dance, while maintaining its original vision. Thanks to the uncompromising quality of its performance, the company has managed to win over the years the sympathy of audiences and critics all over the world.

On the program: “Harry” – Barak Marshall, “Night Box” – Wen Wei Wang, Zero in On – Cayetano Soto.

“Rarely do we have the privilege of witnessing such a display of excellence and watching some of the best dancers in the world.” (Los Angeles Times)
