Three decades since its first performance, Rami Ba’er’s iconic work returns to the stage. “Aide-Mémoire”, one of the masterpieces of Israeli dance, echoes the collective and personal trauma left by the Holocaust in social and individual life. Beer, one of Israel’s leading artists and a second-generation Holocaust survivor, moves between associative flashes, dismantling and reassembling the intergenerational memory that is burned into the skin and etched into the body.

“A memory of creative works that must not be missed…” (Tikva Hotar Yishai, Yedioth Ahronoth)

“The Kibbutz Dance Company did it in a big way this time. Rami Beer is a creator with a rich visual imagination, who conjures up fascinating stage images. What is impressive about it is the artistic unity achieved between the movement, the music… the scenery… a system that works in perfect coordination” (Elikim Yaron, Maariv)

“Beer’s movement language does not speak in steps but in the entire body, and the company is well-trained in this versatile language… The dancers’ dedicated performance and the purity of the choreography will captivate you.” (NEW YORK TIMES)
