One of the world’s most important symphony orchestras is coming to Israel for a one-time visit as part of an international tour of the world’s leading music centers.

The orchestra’s music director, Canadian conductor Peter Undjane (who for years was the leading violinist of the legendary Tokyo Quartet), will lead the orchestra in Dvořák’s sweeping Seventh Symphony and accompany international star violinist Maxim Venegrov in a performance of Brahms’ Violin Concerto.

The concert opens with a commissioned piece by Jordan Pall, one of today’s most important Canadian composers.
