For the first time in Israel under the auspices of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra:

As part of its visit, the orchestra, conducted by its music director Yannick Nazette Sagan, will play a selection of works, including Symphony No. 2 for piano and the “Age of Anxiety” orchestration to mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of Leonard Bernstein, who composed it.
The orchestra will be joined by two world-renowned pianists. In Haifa, pianist Helen Grimaud will play Brahms’ Piano Concerto No. 1 in B minor, Opus 15.
And in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, pianist Jean-Yves Thibaudet will play Bernstein’s symphony.
In the second part of the three concerts, the orchestra will play Symphony No. 4, in F minor, Opus 36 by Tchaikovsky.
