The godfather of electronic music is coming to Israel for the first time for a showcase performance in a production never before seen in the country at the Nature Culture Hall, Masada.
Jean-Michel Jarre, the musical idol with a glorious career in which he was awarded the title of ‘the artist with the largest fan base in the world’, broke four Guinness World Records, is considered the godfather of electronic music, is a nominee for the 2017 Grammy Award, has sold over eighty million albums and serves as a UNESCO ambassador, selecting historical sites around the world and holding showcases there to raise social awareness. After doing so at the pyramids in Egypt with 800,000 people, in Houston, Texas in front of 1.5 million people with a broadcast into space, in Moscow with 3.5 million people, and at the Eiffel Tower in Paris with 2.5 million people, Jean-Michel Jarre chose Masada as the next site to which he will arrive for a mega showcase concert in order to raise international awareness of the condition of the Dead Sea.
The historic Masada site will be transformed for one day into a futuristic city with complex and experiential production elements that the Israeli audience will be exposed to. The stage will be placed in the center of the mountainous landscape, and in front of it will be built a luxurious amphitheater with separate, luxurious and well-equipped viewing levels and dance floors.
