Gyur’s ballet company, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary and is one of the most important dance companies in Hungary, will be hosted at the Herzliya Culture Center and will present Ravel’s Bolero, choreographed by Anders Lukács, and “Piano,” a work by choreographer Laszlo Velky to the music of Franz Liszt, performed by the international pianist Janos Balazs.

Today, the Györ Company is the most important ensemble in the Hungarian dance world. Its repertoire covers almost all branches of dance art, from classical ballet to contemporary dance, from dance theater to children’s productions. Since its founding, the company has performed all over the world: the Joyce Theater in New York, the Queen Elizabeth Hall in London, La Scala in Milan, Vienna, Athens, Paris, America, Japan, China, India, Russia, Denmark and many other places.
