Tom Oren, award-winning pianist, composer and arranger, celebrates a new album in a one-off performance with guests: Nurit Galron, Yonatan Hadas clarinet and Hadar Neuberg flute.
Tom is the first Israeli winner of the prestigious Thelonious Monk Institute International Piano Competition (now named after Rabbi Hancock), performs on major stages around the world and has released albums on international labels.
He recently joined the prestigious ensemble of trumpeter Terence Blanchard and saxophonist Roy Coltrane for a world tour celebrating the 100th anniversary of Miles Davis and John Coltrane.
At the launch show, Tom, along with Elam Friedlander on double bass and Amir Bar Akiva on drums, presents original works combining free improvisation and a personal musical language.
An experience of contemporary jazz, virtuoso and full of emotion.
