The Pyatnitsky Musical Group, which has gained a legendary reputation, consists of a choir and a dance group that perform Russian folk songs combined with traditional Russian dance.
The show they are touring the world with is an immersive and colorful Russian folklore show, featuring an orchestra of authentic folk instruments and traditional Russian costumes.
The authentic uniqueness, color, and melodies combine with singing and dancing and are accompanied by traditional musical instruments that have mesmerized viewers around the world.
The choir performs well-known songs such as “Kalinka” but also lesser-known folk songs collected from various regions of Russia over the past hundred years.
The performance in Israel, marking International Russia Day, will be part of a series of performances around the world featuring prominent Russian artists. Other performances on the same day will take place at Carnegie Hall in New York, the Municipal Theater in Rio de Janeiro, and the Salle Gable in Paris.
