We once loved truly and sincerely | We loved like children know | I see the years on you and on me too | And you are beautiful, face to face…”
Two of the greatest, most successful and important artists in Israeli music, with a musical career spanning 45 years that includes many successes for each and countless hits that have become an integral part of the soundtrack of our lives, are coming full circle after 30 years and performing together again on the same stage.
In February 1989, Yehuda Poliker and Gidi Gov teamed up for the first time for a joint performance after Poliker composed most of the songs on Gidi Gov’s masterpiece album, “Derech Eretz”, including: “Almost Autumn”, “Flower”, “Yorem”, the timeless hit “Shell Sherav” and more.
Now, 30 years later, the two will come full circle and meet together on one stage in a one-of-a-kind artistic summit. The show will combine a select portion of their best-known repertoire: “Less but Painful,” “There Is Somewhere,” “A New Beginning,” “A Matter of Time,” “Things I Wanted to Say,” “Holding on to the Air,” “Intertwined Instruments,” “Radio Ramallah,” “There Is No More Day,” “Night Shift,” “I Fall in Love Again,” “My Eyes,” “Friday,” “Yo Ya,” and more.
